If I should die ...
A wistful thought.
A distant fantasy.
In pastel colours, water thin,
Mystic
Immortality.

I walk alone a narrow path,
Of harsh and garish sounds.
I cannot see
In front of me.
I cannot feel the ground.

But when I shut my eyes at night,
Before they're fully closed,
A subtle landscape
Disappears,
That never was exposed.

If I should die
Before I wake,
I'll see that scene
Once more.
But crystal clear,
It's quiet shades
An endless,
Peaceful,
Shore.
